授業概要	この授業では、最終的にダブルスのゲームが楽しめることができるようになることを目指す。そのために必要な技術、得点法、審判法およびマナーを習得していくことを目的とする。単に技術の向上を学習の中心とするのではなく、ダブルスのゲームを通じパートナーとのチームプレイからゲームを展開していくことを知る。テニスを通じ、学生間のコミュニケーションを築くことも重視している。

評価方法	無遅刻、無欠席で一定の水準に達した者を80点（A）とし、以下のように採点する。 1）態度（出席を含む授業への積極的な取り組みを評価）・・・60点 2）技術（テニスの習熟度を、個別に確認するテストを行なう）・・・20点 3）知識（テニスに関する課題を出す）・・・20点 4）欠席、遅刻の減点は、以下の通り。欠席：-5、-10、-20、不可。遅刻：-3、-6、-12、-24、不可。

授業概要	This class is for all students who are interested in overseas destinations for travel， work or study.. The goals of the course are to help students communicate effectively in English and deal with a wide variety of travel survival situations， while helping them to expand their vocabulary and improve their conversational skills， and listening ability. Students will have many opportunities to improve speaking strategies and general fluency in English through interactive group and pair work.
授業計画	The class will focus on oral productive skills and active listening activities which will help extend target language and develop basic listening strategies. Many travel tips in different situations such as studying abroad， homestay hints， hotel differences， shopping， tours， and dining will be discussed.

授業概要	This class is designed to give the students a broad practical exposure to a number of business settings. This will be a speaking and listening course aiming to prepare the students to a wide range of business situations such as: dealing with clients， entertaining， telephoning， fixing appointments and making plans.
授業計画	The class will basically be divided into different situations and in addition， will help students to prepare for the TOEIC Test. Practice tests are included in the book， therefore the students will relate to the TOEIC Test through the business situations dealt with in class. Situational dialogues may include talking about cafeteria menus elective and required courses among other campus life themes. Critical thinking skills and ideas of debate and discussion may be introduced. Most of these classes will be taught by the same teacher who teaches the same section for EIC 101. This will allow the teacher to make assignments or projects that may use several classes of both EIC 101 and EIC 102. Some EIC 101 and EIC 102 classes may be taught by different teachers. In this situation the， the class work and home work may be completely separate from the class taught by the other teacher.

授業概要	This is an elective English communication course. The focus of the course is on reading， writing and presentation skills. Topics include， among others， issues of both national and global interest. The course also involves a minimum of vocabulary building as well as group debate.
授業計画	Students will start by reviewing some important elements of English communication strategies， including speaking and writing. Students will then be introduced to the techniques of reading. They will move on to utilize what they learned in their weekly assignments and final projects.
評価方法	The course is activity-oriented. Students should expect to spend up to one hour for weekly assignments. Grading will be based on students’ active involvement in the class activities and their willingness to improve by doing the given assignments. Attendance is extremely important since much of the work is done in classroom.

授業概要	This is an elective course aimed at building communicative English skills. The focus of the course is on speaking and short writings. Topics are selected in collaboration with students so that it reflects their academic interests. Reading and discussion will also be part of the course. At the end of the course， students should be able to express themselves with logic and ease.
授業計画	The course has no textbooks. The instructor provides materials needed for class activities. Students will start by reviewing some important elements of English communication strategies， including speaking and writing. They will then go on to apply what they have learned in given monthly projects. Each student is expected to write a two-page essay and to 10-minute speech.
評価方法	Attendance is important. So is group work. Students may spend up to an hour for their weekly assignments. Grading is based on attendance (10%)， in-class activities (20%)， weekly assignments (30%) and final project (40%).
