| 授業概要 | This is an elective English communication course. The focus of the course is on reading， writing and presentation skills. Topics include， among others， issues of both national and global interest. The course also involves a minimum of vocabulary building as well as group debate. |
| 授業計画 | Students will start by reviewing some important elements of English communication strategies， including speaking and writing. Students will then be introduced to the techniques of reading. They will move on to utilize what they learned in their weekly assignments and final projects. |
| 評価方法 | The course is activity-oriented. Students should expect to spend up to one hour for weekly assignments. Grading will be based on students’ active involvement in the class activities and their willingness to improve by doing the given assignments. Attendance is extremely important since much of the work is done in classroom. |
