| 授業概要 | This class is designed to give the students a broad practical exposure to a number of business settings. This will be a speaking and listening course aiming to prepare the students to a wide range of business situations such as: dealing with clients, entertaining, telephoning, fixing appointments and making plans. |
| 授業計画 | The class will basically be divided into different situations and in addition, will help students to prepare for the TOEIC Test. Practice tests are included in the book, therefore the students will relate to the TOEIC Test through the business situations dealt with in class. Topics will be: (1) Greetings and Introducing yourself (2) Visiting Clients (3) Business Activities (4) Fixing an Appointment (5) Telephoning, Placing an order and making requests (6) Making Plans (7) Expressing Opinions (8) Invitations and directions, apologies (9) Entertaining (10) Saying goodbye |
| 評価方法 | Grades on this course will be determined by the following criteria:Regular attendance 30%-If a student misses more than 4 of the classes, she will fail the course. Being more than five minutes late for the class three times will count as one absence. Being more than 20 minutes late is considered one absence.Participation and attitude 40%Homework and Tests 30% |

This course is meant to give you some insight and practice in actual business situations. This class is recommended to students with a TOEIC score from 250 to 380 or from level 3 to pre 1 on the STEP Test. |
