| 授業概要 | This advanced elementary English course will introduce to practical English necessary to survive in a foreign country. The situational dialogues may include ordering in restaurants making reservations and discussing travel plans or discussing places the students have been to or would like to visit. Discussions， presentations and oral interpretations based on videos or assigned readings may be dealt with in class. Mini lectures and note taking may also be included in the class work. In most cases， the same teacher will teach EIC 103 and 104. This will allow assignments to be carried over to from one class to the other. Some classes will have different teachers for each class and they may be taught as separate classes with some coordination to prevent duplication of work. |

| 授業概要 | 近年WebコンテンツはWeb2.0という単語に代表されるように非常に高度化しています。この授業では、これらの技術の高度化に適応するために、各種技術を利用した新たなWebサービスの提案と実践的なWebシステムの構築を目的とします。Webサービスの提案ではビジネスプランコンテストを通して、考案したサービスの新規性や有用性に対するプレゼンテーション能力を養成することを目的としています。また、Webシステムの構築では、本学において学習したデータベースや各種プログラミングの知識を利用し、実社会においての利用者を想定した実践的なWebシステム開発能力を養成することを目的としています。 |
| 授業計画 | 本ゼミナールでは、これまでに学習したコンピュータの知識を活かし、各自が興味を持つ分野について、次の2つのテーマから成果物を作成します。1. 新たなWebサービスの提案社会における既存のWebサービスを調査し、従来よりも優れたWebサービスを提案します。提案したサービスは、ビジネスプランコンテストに応募します。2. 実践Webシステム構築実社会において即時の利用が可能な、利用者の要求を満たした実践的なシステムを構築します。 |

Creative writing allows us to free up our concerns with technical perfection， as in other types of writing such as business correspondence etc.， and to let our thoughts flow. This， in turn， will increase our confidence to write in English， improve grammar， and to express our thoughts to others. This class will focus on different writing exercises each week which will be read out to the class in the following week. Different prose and poetry styles will be explored. |
