| 授業概要 | In this course， we will use the computer lab facilities in various ways to learn about international topics and topics of personal interest. We will also use the computers for real communication and practice our skills in computer-mediated communication － between the teacher and students， between various students， and possibly between students and other individuals outside of the class. Finally， we will complete one or more projects， producing materials electronically， possibly to be viewed on the web. |
| 授業計画 | Students will be guided in collecting information on specific topics and developing the information into a presentable form. They will also learn the skills required to communicate effectively， both in real time (live) and with methods that allow for editing and fine-tuning. There will also be specific information presented by the teacher electronically to stimulate personal interest， discussion， and development of each student’s research focus. |
| 評価方法 | Grades will be based on attendance， active participation in class activities， and quality of work done on projects and activities， especially in following directions carefully and accurately. |
