| 授業概要 | This is a multi-skill class using documentary videos. Students watch short video clips from documentaries and identify the issues. As follow-up， you can choose either to discuss the issue in groups or write your reaction and share your writing with a partner or group.In this class， students can improve their listening comprehension skills， broaden their vocabulary and learn about the outside world. |
| 授業計画 | We will study some of these issues: Environmental problems， such as global warming. Poverty and micro finance in Bangladesh. Medical ethics. Gender issues. Legal issues. Cultural integration in Europe. Students will have some choice in the topics they study. |
| 評価方法 | Students can choose either to take a written test expressing their opinions or give a short presentation on one of the topics studied. Points will be awarded as follows:50% for class participation， 30% for the test， 20% for attendance. |
