| 授業概要 | This elementary English course will focus on academic situation and the vocabulary to talk about school life. Situational dialogues may include talking about cafeteria menus， elective and compulsory courses， as well as club activities. Students will be encourage to do debate-like activities based on readings concerning controversial issues. Writing simple letters and informative paragraphs may also be dealt with. Free writing will be incorporated as well. |
| 授業計画 | The main focus of this course will be to prepare students for an overseas study or homestay experience. Students will learn how to talk about their family and hometown as well as explain about interesting aspects of Japanese culture. Students will use model conversations to practise situational and practical English. You will use pair and group work to build conversations expressing ideas and opinions. |
| 評価方法 | Points will be given for class participation， homework assignments， attendance and in-class tests. |
