| 授業概要 | This is an advanced elementary course of English. It introduces students to practical English necessary for communicating abroad. Situational dialogues include topics like ordering in restaurants， making reservations， talking about foreign places， etc. The course involves discussions， presentations and oral interpretations of news articles. Mini lectures and short video documentaries serve as basis for discussion and other class activities. |
| 授業計画 | This course is about practical English. The course is strongly activity oriented. It uses a step-by-step method and involves a lot of teamwork and group activities. Classes will often end with short (3-5 min) presentations by selected students. |
| 評価方法 | Attendance is important. So is teamwork. Students are evaluated based on the following: attendance (20%)， weekly assignment， in-class activities (40%) and final test (50%). |
