| 授業概要 | This is an advanced English communication class. We will investigate world issues like pollution， war and peace. We will use newspapers and weekly magazines for many of our topics. I will have students form groups to discuss various topics and positions on the various topics. Students will have to write short opinion statements on a few articles. Students in Friday’s 3rd period class will have to buy the book Thoughts Into Writing. |
| 授業計画 | The classwork will consist of pair work， group work and individual written and oral reports. Students will be encouraged to speak in English only to both the teacher and to each other. |
| 評価方法 | Grades will be based on classwork and homework and the attitude the students demonstrate in class (50%) and oral presentations (50%). |
