| 授業概要 | This is a very practical course designed to improve conversation skills but especially aimed at providing information necessary for smooth interaction with other people whilst travelling abroad. |
| 授業計画 | There are 3 main areas of study: Culture: to study cultural differences between Japan and English-speaking countries and pinpoint possible difficulties whilst travelling. Language: this stresses using natural language， natural speed and good intonation to avoid misunderstanding. Confidence: to choose language appropriate to a social situation and to use whatever vocabulary a student has available to express herself confidently. |
| 評価方法 | Specific preparation is for the educational visit to Nottingham. Time is short so attendance， active participation and close attention in class is essential and will be graded for final evaluation. |
