| 授業概要 | The course will build on the techniques learned in the first semester to further develop clear writing ability but the range of topics will be related to wider issues and the focus will be on extended forms of self-expression such as essays，short stories，letters，e-mail communication，etc. |
| 授業計画 | The syllabus will introduce special techniques for improving style such as effective opening/closing，metaphor，modifiers，descriptive，narrative，dramatic and persuasive methods and the logical presentation of ideas.The emphasis will be on expanding vocabulary and individual style development. |
