| 授業概要 | This course aims to build on students language skills， and introduce the more challenging skills of critical thinking， expressing opinions and participating in discussions. The topics covered will range from the light hearted to more pressing social issues. |
| 授業計画 | The focus will be on studying techniques that enable studentst to learn “how”to participate in a discussion， the importance of the individual opinion as well as the process of sharing ideas and reaching a concensus. Initiating and sustaining conversations and discussions will also be encouraged， and students will be asked to contribute to the choice of topics raised. |
| 評価方法 | Students’ attitudes and level of participation are the most important assessment factor. Participation in class time 50%， homework， punctuality， attendance and test results 50% |
