| 授業概要 | This is a listening class for students whose average CASEC score is under 549. The object of this class is to enable the students to improve listening comprehension skills by using the four successful listening strategies. |
| 授業計画 | Class work will consist of listening to passages related to topics students are interested in such as: travel， cultural differences， health， movies， relationships， environment， school life and fashion. There will be short vocabulary quizzes， comprehension tests and the students will also be asked to give presentations on the topics discussed. |
| 評価方法 | Grading is by continuous assessment and successful completion of the target task. Active participation and a high degree of commitment are essential. Grades of the course will be determined by the following criteria: Attendance: 30% (If a student misses more than 4 classes， you will fail the course. Being more than 20 minutes late will be considered one absence. ) In-class attitude， assignments， participation and activities: 30% Presentation work， quizzes， and homework: 30% Final examination: 10% |
