| 授業概要 | There will be a choice of online communication activities in this class， including studying with movie clips and making interactive slideshow presentations. You can improve communication skills by studying movie dialogs. You can practice dialogs and discuss about actors and movies with a partner then discuss online in an international forum with students from other parts of Japan and Asia. You can study educational animations on a variety of topics such as environmental issues， social studies and English study skills. You can learn how to improve your study skills including how to write a book report， how to make presentations and how to organize ideas in an essay. |
| 授業計画 | Upload your personal photos to make an online voicethread slideshow presentation. Then have an interactive conversation with visitors who add comments to your slideshow. Study movie clips and educational animations on a variety of social and environmental issues. Find out about the history of holidays such as Halloween， Thanksgiving， Christmas and New Year. Movie topics: Finding yourself: Into the Wild， Penelope. Nature: March of the Penguins， Earth. Research how animations are made: Howl， Totoro， Spirited Away， Toy Story， Finding Nemo， Ratatouille. Christmas movies: Polar Express， A Christmas Carol， The Tale of Despereaux. Fantasy movies: Harry Potter， Narnia， Mr. Magoriums Wonder Emporium. Super heroes: Spiderman， Batman. Study skills: how to write a book report， how to make presentations， how to organize ideas in an essay. |
