授業概要 This course will give students the opportunity to learn effective communication in English. You will preview new vocabulary, expand understanding with a variety of listening tasks then use the new language in short, model conversations. Then you will use speaking strategies such as shadowing to continue the speaking activity with several different partners in the class. Finally, you will use these skills to have a group discussion on the topic.

評価方法 80% for class participation and assignments, 20% for an in-class test.

メッセージ Enthusiastic participation is very important in this class. You must be willing to use English in the pair and group speaking activities. We will use the textbook English Firsthand Success in this class. Students can borrow the textbook from the teacher.
