| 授業概要 | English for International Communication， EIC I A， is an elementary English class focusing on LISTENING skills. Skills development and practice to help students improve their listening ability will be the major thrust of the course. |
| 授業計画 | During the term， we’ll use a textbook that has been written to help students especially improve their skills in listening to and understanding English. There will be lots of listening practice in class， as well as tests and exercises to help students prepare for the listening portions of tests like the TOEIC and TOEFL tests， too. |
| 評価方法 | Students will be evaluated based on preparation and participation， including attendance， being on time， and general attitude in class， as well as effort put into homework， class assignments， and class activities. As stated in Bunkyo University’s policies， it will NOT be possible for students to pass this course if they are absent from more than 1/3 of the classes. |
