Students can watch video streaming of news and documentaries to practice information gathering and organizing skills.  Each week students will complete an online listening activity and write a short response to the issue.<br \/>There will be a choice of online assignments every week in this class so you can study according to your needs and interests and work at your own pace.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<th>\u6388\u696d\u8a08\u753b<\/th>\n<td>Options include:<br \/>European culture\uff0c travel and food traditions.<br \/>Volunteer and charity activities:<br \/>Peace One Day. Street kids in Brazil and Kenya. War child.<br \/>Career choices &#8211; dream it\uff0c do it!<br \/>The environment:<br \/>Green Building. Recycling and \u201cupcycling\u201d. Solar energy.<br \/>Health and fitness:<br \/>Body types. Healthy food. Sleep. Yoga. K9 dance.  Extreme sports.<br \/>Seasonal traditions around the world:<br \/>The history of Halloween and Thanksgiving.<br \/>Christmas traditions.
