Through performance\uff0c students will be able to develop confidence and self-assurance in learning how to express themselves in English.  Through recitation\uff0c script reading\uff0c and writing their own narrative and dialogue\uff0c all four skills (speaking\uff0c listening\uff0c reading and writing) will be dealt with in this class.  The final class of the semester will be a performance (\u201cshowcase\u201d) of the students\u2019 own work.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<th>\u6388\u696d\u8a08\u753b<\/th>\n<td>The final goal of this class is to make an original play produced and performed by the students themselves\uff0c through role-playing\uff0c monologue\uff0c dialogue\uff0c story telling\uff0c recitation\uff0c and dramatization.  Warming-up exercise and theatre games will begin each class.  The instructor will conduct this class as a facilitator in a style of theatre workshop.  If there\u2019s any possibility\uff0c going to see a play \/ joining a backstage tour will be scheduled\uff0c as one of the class activities.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<th>\u8a55\u4fa1\u65b9\u6cd5<\/th>\n<td>Class Participation 20%\uff0c Performance 20%\uff0c Homework Assignments 20%\uff0c Term report 20%\uff0c Journal*20%.  *The instructor will explain about the journal at the beginning of semester.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<th>\u6559\u79d1\u66f8<\/th>\n<td><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<th>\u53c2\u8003\u66f8<\/th>\n<td><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<th>\u30e1\u30c3\u30bb\u30fc\u30b8<\/th>\n<td>No need to have special acting skills or experiences!  Just bring your curiosity and interests in expressing yourself through performance.  Students will be expected to participate actively on their own initiative to acquire English language skills!
