This class is designed to help the students improve in speaking\uff0c listening\uff0c reading and writing.  The students will have lots of opportunities to think about and express their opinions on important ideas and issues.  The class will also help you plan\uff0c write\uff0c and deliver in-class presentations on a variety of stimulating topics.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<th>\u6388\u696d\u8a08\u753b<\/th>\n<td>Students will choose which of these topics they want to study:<br \/>Education<br \/>Travel<br \/>Culture<br \/>Health<br \/>Environment<br \/>Society<br \/>Relationships<br \/>Media and Technology<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<th>\u8a55\u4fa1\u65b9\u6cd5<\/th>\n<td>Grading is by continuous assessment and successful completion of the target task.  Active participation and a high degree of commitment are essential.<br \/>Attendance is extremely important in my class. (30%)  If a student misses more than 4 classes\uff0c you will fail the course.
