This year our Shonan Bunkyo campus is developing an eco-campus project. Therefore\uff0c it would be good if we can all learn more about the environment and ways to protect it.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<th>\u6388\u696d\u8a08\u753b<\/th>\n<td>In this class\uff0c we will cover four basic units on the environment:<br \/>ecology\uff0c indigenous peoples\uff0c environmental destruction and alternative or eco-tourism. In studying these topics\uff0c we will look at 1) the ideas and concepts behind them and 2) real case studies and examples from different parts of the world.  Students will work with materials on the computer which involve mostly reading and writing. Some activities will include listening and speaking. In class activities will often use on-line journal writing and sometimes use computer games. Homework will often be background reading to prepare for the next class. Tests will usually consist of written reports. We will try to enjoy ourselves and have a relaxed atmosphere while we work hard to understand some important and complex deas about the environment.
