This will be a speaking and listening course aiming to prepare the students to a wide range of business situations such as: dealing with clients\uff0c entertaining\uff0c telephoning\uff0c fixing appointments and making plans.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<th>\u6388\u696d\u8a08\u753b<\/th>\n<td>The class will basically be divided into different situations and in addition\uff0c will help students to prepare for the TOEIC Test. Practice tests are included in the book\uff0c therefore the students will relate to the TOEIC Test through the business situations dealt with in class.<br \/>  Topics will be:<br \/>(1)\tGreetings and Introducing yourself<br \/>(2)\tVisiting Clients<br \/>(3)\tBusiness Activities<br \/>(4)\tFixing an Appointment<br \/>(5)\tTelephoning\uff0c Placing an order and making requests<br \/>(6)\tMaking Plans<br \/>(7)\tExpressing Opinions<br \/>(8)\tInvitations and directions\uff0c apologies<br \/>(9)\tEntertaining<br \/>(10)\tSaying goodbye<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<th>\u8a55\u4fa1\u65b9\u6cd5<\/th>\n<td>Grades on this course will be determined by the following criteria:Regular attendance 30%-If a student misses more than 4 of the classes\uff0c she will fail the course. Being more than five minutes late for the class three times will count as one absence. Being more than 20 minutes late is considered one absence.Participation and attitude 40%Homework and Tests  30%<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<th>\u6559\u79d1\u66f8<\/th>\n<td><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<th>\u53c2\u8003\u66f8<\/th>\n<td><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<th>\u30e1\u30c3\u30bb\u30fc\u30b8<\/th>\n<td>Many students will embark on job search activities\uff0c and thereafter will leave the university to enter a corporate environment.  This course is meant to give you some insight and practice in actual business situations.
