Some of the conversations emphasizecross-cultural communication so this is especially useful if studentsare planning to spend time in a homestay or to study abroad. Studentswill learn about and discuss cultural differences between Japan andother cultures.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<th>\u6388\u696d\u8a08\u753b<\/th>\n<td>Topics include social conversation\uff0c apologizing\uff0c talking about otions\uff0c giving opinions\uff0c talking about culture\uff0c talking about the orld.<br \/>Students will practise conversations in pairs followed by group discussions.<br \/>All students including those who have used this textbook in my EIC<br \/>102 class are eligible for this class. We will study the social<br \/>conversations in units 1 and 2 again but then will study more<br \/>advanced units on expressing opinions and talking about culture.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<th>\u8a55\u4fa1\u65b9\u6cd5<\/th>\n<td>50 points for homework and class work.50 points for the tests.
