Its primary focus is on speaking. The course is designed to help students improve their communication ability. Online tools and Internet are essential to the course. At the end of semester\uff0c students should be able to communicate in English with clarity and ease.  Topics are carefully selected to facilitate interaction among students and to let them feel confident when expressing their views.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<th>\u6388\u696d\u8a08\u753b<\/th>\n<td>The course is activity oriented. It uses pre-made sketches for the students to learn key language structures that are necessary to communicate in English. Students will start by reviewing and mastering the basic elements of English communication. They will go on to study about the various rules of speechmaking. They will then put the acquired skills together through individual and group projects\uff0c including presentations.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<th>\u8a55\u4fa1\u65b9\u6cd5<\/th>\n<td>Attendance is extremely important. Students will also need to keep up with their weekly assignments\uff0c which amount to a workload of 50-60 minutes.
