Students will be encoraged to present their own articles on topics that interest them. It intends to develop critical thinking and research in English.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<th>\u6388\u696d\u8a08\u753b<\/th>\n<td>This course will provide students the vocabulary and grammar to perform these skills:<br \/>Improve reading skills\/ Deciphering headlines\/ Idiomatic use of English\/ Further devopment of critical thinking\/ Examining different<br \/>writing styles\/ Researching in English\/ Presentation of articles\/ Writing newspaper articles in English<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<th>\u8a55\u4fa1\u65b9\u6cd5<\/th>\n<td>50% Classwork (homework\uff0c discussion ability)\/  50% Final presentation\/report<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<th>\u6559\u79d1\u66f8<\/th>\n<td><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<th>\u53c2\u8003\u66f8<\/th>\n<td><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<th>\u30e1\u30c3\u30bb\u30fc\u30b8<\/th>\n<td>This course should be taken by enthusiastic students who are interested in finding out about Japan and the world using English newspapers and magazines. Students will be free to present topics while demonstrating their improved critical and reading abilities.
