It will encourage critical assessment of these issues from different perspectives\uff0c and the opportunity for students to enhance their debating\uff0c presenting and role-playing skills in English.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<th>\u6388\u696d\u8a08\u753b<\/th>\n<td>This course will provide students the vocabulary and grammar to perform these skills:<br \/>Applied critical thinking\/ Debating advanced topics\/ Making presentations\/ Role-play and speech-making\/ Researching presentation topics\/ Critical analysis of media (TV\uff0c newspapers\uff0c internet)<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<th>\u8a55\u4fa1\u65b9\u6cd5<\/th>\n<td>50% Classwork (Homework\uff0c discussion skills)\/ 50% Final presentation\/report<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<th>\u6559\u79d1\u66f8<\/th>\n<td><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<th>\u53c2\u8003\u66f8<\/th>\n<td><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<th>\u30e1\u30c3\u30bb\u30fc\u30b8<\/th>\n<td>I encourage students who have taken ESP 210 in the Spring to take this course. It will apply the newspaper reading and  critical skills learned in ESP 210 to an analysis of international issues.
