We will consider what ways of thinking have caused the environmental crisis\uff0c and how they need to be changed.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<th>\u6388\u696d\u8a08\u753b<\/th>\n<td>We will read (in Japanese) Jeremy Rifkin\u2019s book `Biosphere Politics` (1991)\uff0c and discuss it. It is in five parts:<br \/>Enclosing the Global Commons<br \/>Geopolitics and the Death of Nature<br \/>The Culture of Privacy<br \/>Securing the Body Politic<br \/>The Coming of the Biospheric Age<br \/>In addition\uff0c several videos will be shown and discussed.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<th>\u8a55\u4fa1\u65b9\u6cd5<\/th>\n<td>There will be two tests:  in July (40%) and at the end of the year (60%). Students will also be evaluated on their class participation .
