Each year we focus on a different issue.  In 2002 &#8211; 2003 we studied ecophilosophy.  In 2001 &#8211; 2002 we discussed death from various philosophical and cultural perspectives. This year we will study transpersonal psychology\uff0c for at least one term. Students will research and present their own seminar papers to the group. Since the class will be conducted mostly in English\uff0c students must be able to understand and express themselves in English. But complete fluency is not required. This is not a language class!<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<th>\u6388\u696d\u8a08\u753b<\/th>\n<td>The schedule will vary according to the topics that we choose to study.  We will begin by reading a book by Ken Wilber\uff0c which I will give to you. Don\u2019t worry\uff0c we will read the Japanese translation!<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<th>\u8a55\u4fa1\u65b9\u6cd5<\/th>\n<td>Students will be evaluated on their class participation and on their seminar paper. I don\u2019t want poor students!
