Students may expect to work in pairs\uff0c do group projects and make presentations and academic writing Skills to be taught will be:Writing\uff0cGrammar\uff0cReading\uff0cDiscussion techniques (how to lead discussions and inquire about topics)\uff0cPresentation and speech making\uff0cCritical thinking\uff0cIntercultural communication problems<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<th>\u6388\u696d\u8a08\u753b<\/th>\n<td>Lesson One: Self-introductions and short conversations designed to have students make friends and so that they will work together better in groups and as a class. A reading topic will be given for homework.<br \/>Lesson Two: The homework will be read and discussed in groups. Students will learn to ask questions correct discussion English technique. Individuals will be assigned short speeches for next lesson.<br \/>Lesson Three: Each student will make his\/her short speech and the other students will use listening sheets and make questions (all in English).<br \/>Lesson Four: In groups students will review each other\u2019s written speeches and make corrections and exchange information about the vocabulary and discuss each others point of view.<br \/>Lesson Five: The students will design a project that will give each member of their group a chance to speak 2-3 minuets on one topic. They will mind-map the topic and divide the topic into equal shares of research and speech making. Each person will have to write on his\/her topic as well as deliver it. Both the written report and the speech will be graded.<br \/>Lesson Six: The students will review their topics and practice among themselves with the teacher coaching them.<br \/>Lesson Seven: The students will begin to make their presentations:<br \/>Lesson Eight: Presentations should be finished this week and vocabulary used in the presentations will be handed out.<br \/>Lesson Nine: Students will review their presentations and ways to improve.
