Skills development and practice to help students improve their listening ability will be the major thrust of the course.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<th>\u6388\u696d\u8a08\u753b<\/th>\n<td>During the term\uff0c we\u2019ll use a textbook that has been written to help students especially improve their skills in listening to and understanding English. There will be lots of listening practice in class\uff0c as well as tests and exercises to help students prepare for the listening portions of tests like the TOEIC and TOEFL tests\uff0c too.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<th>\u8a55\u4fa1\u65b9\u6cd5<\/th>\n<td>Students will be evaluated based on preparation and participation\uff0c including attendance\uff0c being on time\uff0c and general attitude in class\uff0c as well as effort put into homework\uff0c class assignments\uff0c and class activities. As stated in Bunkyo University\u2019s policies\uff0c it will NOT be possible for students to pass this course if they are absent from more than 1\/3 of the classes.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<th>\u6559\u79d1\u66f8<\/th>\n<td><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<th>\u53c2\u8003\u66f8<\/th>\n<td><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<th>\u30e1\u30c3\u30bb\u30fc\u30b8<\/th>\n<td>Japanese students often receive a lot of practice in reading and writing\uff0c but not much practice in listening to English.
