| 授業概要 | There will be graded assignments every week in class. Every student receives a weekly e-mail from the teacher. There will be assignments with questions and links to websites where you will search for information. Students write their answers， run a spell check， then e-mail me. When the assignment is finished there are links to interesting interactive websites where students can read， listen to and enjoy English online. |
| 授業計画 | Students can choose their own topics to study and I will make a “special menu“ for some assignments. Topics include: Global cool: Young people work to stop global warming. Fair Trade: Ethiopia vs. Starbucks， Cool Japan: People and products that are popular overseas. Japanese entrepreneurs successful in Paris， London and New York. Peacejam: Students meet Nobel Prize winners to help bring world peace. Food bank: Food projects to help the homeless. School projects to save the environment. Brush up your grammar and writing skills on interactive education sites. Socially responsible companies in the US， UK and Japan. Reducing carbon emissions: Measure your carbon footprint. Take a personality test and an aptitude test: What jobs are you suited to? |
