| 授業概要 | We will find out what is happening in the world now, especially what young people around the world are doing to save the environment and work for peace. There are assignments every week. First, there are questions with links to websites where you will search for information. Students send their answers by e-mail and receive points for work completed. When the graded assignment is finished students can research further using links titled “For your interest”. Then you can enjoy the “For Fun” section, which has movie reviews, trailers and word games. |

Eco-products and eco-business ideas. Eco-hotels and eco-tourism. Reducing carbon emissions: Measure your carbon footprint. Future food: Biotechnology, GM food, cloned meat. Health and fitness: Finding out your BMI. Food and cooking: Learn from celebrity chefs. Attitudes to the homeless. Food banks for the homeless. Intellectual copyright: Coca cola and the ninja kittens. Making travel arrangements: B&B in London, farm stay in New Zealand. Find your stress level and learn techniques to cope with stress. Exam techniques: How to study effectively. Oxfam unwrapped: Christmas gifts donated to the developing world. |
