| 授業概要 | The aim of this course is to develop debating strategies， critical thinking， argumentative language and logically debate various issues in a contemporary society. Students will study different current controversial issues through English while learning about important contemporary topics and events around the world. Students will also have the opportunity to listen to arguments from different sides. Presenting both sides make the discussion methodical and clear. |
| 授業計画 | In this class， listening activities， reading passages on current topics of interest and vocabulary exercises are also included. Class work will consist of individual， group and pair work activities. |
| 評価方法 | Grades will be based on class attendance and active participation， completion of homework and several class debates and a final written examination at the end of the course. |
