| 授業概要 | The Internet is becoming a more and more important aspect of modern society. It allows us access to more readily available information than humanity has ever had in history. Often this flood of information is very difficult to navigate through. In this course we will focus on examining the Internet, thinking about it, and learning how to access and utilize the best information available. We will explore email writing, instant messages, telephony, web radio, etc. |
| 授業計画 | To conduct a multimedia exploration of the net/ Writing emails and chat messages in English/ Listening to web streams from various mainstream and alternative news websites/ Internet history, development and possible futures/ To quickly and effectively retrieve and utilize information/ Providing summaries of website information. |
| 評価方法 | Final evaluations for this class will be based on total performance including attendance, class participation and attitude, homework, reports, end of term presentations and/or examination. All aspects of the class will be essential for a good grade. |
