授業概要 | This advanced elementary English course will introduce to practical English necessary to survive in a foreign country. The situational dialogues may include ordering in restaurants making reservations and discussing travel plans or discussing places the students have been to or would like to visit. Discussions, presentations and oral interpretations based on videos or assigned readings may be dealt with in class. Mini lectures and note taking may also be included in the class work. In most cases, the same teacher will teach EIC 103 and 104. This will allow assignments to be carried over to from one class to the other. Some classes will have different teachers for each class and they may be taught as separate classes with some coordination to prevent duplication of work. |

評価方法 | Final evaluations for this class will be based on total performance including attendance, class participation and attitude, homework, reports, end of term presentations and/or examination. All aspects of the class will be essential for a good grade. |

メッセージ | This course will allow you the necessary skills for basic travel English. We will have plenty of role-play scenarios and small discussions groups to encourage the participation of all students. It will be especially useful for people who intend to travel abroad. |
