ESP302

年度 2007
科目名 ESP302
教員名 J.マーティン
授業概要 English for Special Purposes, ESP 302, is designed to help students interested in or preparing for involvement in international aid and development. In class and through the homework assignments, we’ll be working through materials necessary for those considering such work.
授業計画 During the term, we’ll focus on learning and using English that a person involved in international aid might use. Subjects like sustainable food production and appropriate technology will form the basis for lessons in this course. A special project, where students will research an area they’re interested in and make a presentation to the class about that area, will give extra opportunity for students to consider and use English to help them meet a possible future goal, as well as learn about things that truly affect ALL of us.
評価方法 Students will be evaluated based on attendance, punctuality, and general attitude in class, as well as effort put into class preparation, assignments, and class activities. As stated in Bunkyo University’s policies, it will NOT be possible for students to pass the course if they are absent from more than 1/3 of the classes.
