| 授業概要 | This course is an introductory English conversation course. The students will be introduced to general ideas of daily English conversation. The class will stress development of skills necessary to function in English in situations like making appointments and reservations, as well as discussing such common topics as sports and hobbies. In addition, we will lay the foundation for more advanced discussions on international issues by building vocabulary. Although the main aim is to improve conversational skills, reading and writing will also be taught. |
| 授業計画 | The main focus of this class will be to gain confidence in speaking. Students will develop their listening skills and increase their vocabulary in order to communicate in natural English. Students will practise using model conversations then create their own conversations in pairs.Topics include social conversations, job interviews, getting information and making reservations, following instructions, talking about emotions and experiences,. A willingness to participate and to only use English in pair and group work is a requirement of this class. |
