| 授業概要 | CALL(Computer Assisted Language Learning ＝ コンピュータ支援言語学習環境)教室において、英語4技能(リスニング、スピーキング、リーディング、ライティング)の習得を目的とする総合的な英語学習を行います。CALL102では、特にリーディングとライティングのための文法学習に重点をおきます。教材は、速読学習ソフト(Magic Shower) と文法学習ソフト等を使用します。簡単な英字新聞記事を辞書なしで、読むことができ、要点をまとめ、自分の感想を書くことができる英語力を目指します。授業は、セルフアクセス学習が基本となります。CASEC（英語コミュニケーション能力測定テスト） 500点～550点を学期末の目標とします。 |
| 授業計画 | Each class day starts with a brief review of some key aspects of English grammar. Students will then move on to do vocabulary-related activities. Functions of brief short paragraph writing， reading and speaking skills are introduced using online tools and news articles. Class activities are designed to help students utilize their creativity and academic interests. |
| 評価方法 | Attendance is very important. So is the preparation of weekly assignments. Students should expect to spend up to one and half hours for homework assignments. Grading is based on attendance (20%)， weekly assignments (30%) and individual project of writing and speaking (50%). |
