| 授業概要 | This course will focus on communication skills related to international settings and international topics. Students will practice conversation strategies， discussion skills， listening skills， and presentation skills. They will also learn critical thinking skills and learn to express their opinions with support. The emphasis will be on oral communication， but the course will also include some reading and writing. |
| 授業計画 | The textbook， focused largely on oral communication of international topics， will form the overall structure of the course， but supplementary materials will also be used. Those materials will include current news articles and songs. |
| 評価方法 | Students will be evaluated based on attendance， classroom participation， homework， two tests， and two or more short presentations. |

| メッセージ | I hope to both challenge you to excel by motivating you toward new horizons， and also to assist you in pursuing your own goals， especially as they relate to education and international communication. Also， I hope we can have some fun along the way! I hope to make you more interested in understanding and using English.
