| 授業概要 | This course is about current issues of global peace， sustainable development and people-to-people cooperation. The aim is to help students learn how to formulate and convey their personal views on key international issues as applied to human dignity and social prosperity. The course is closely linked to EIC 205 Peace Studies taught by Ms. Denise Swinnerton; but it can also be taken independently. The language components of the course are reading and presentation. |

| 評価方法 | The course is activity-oriented. Students will often team up in small groups to better shape their language needs and academic interest. Grading is based on 1) attendance， 2) successful weekly assignments， 3) in-classroom activities and 4) presentations. |
