| 授業概要 | This advanced elementary course will introduce the students to practical English necessary to survive in a foreign country. The situational dialogues may include ordering in restaurants， making reservations and discussing travel plans or discussing places the students have been to or would like to visit. Discussions， presentations and oral interpretations based on a variety of readings or videos on practical issues will be dealt with in class. Mini-lectures and note taking may be a part of the course. |
| 授業計画 | The teacher will prepare materials for class concerning situations that might be found in foreign countries. The situations may include ordering in restaurant， making reservations， asking directions and discussing travel plans. Students should expect to work in pairs and groups. Individual presentations and note taking will be incorporated in to the class work. |
| 評価方法 | The students will be graded on attendance and the attitude they show toward their work (50%) and the quality of their class work and individual presentations. |
