| 授業概要 | This elementary English course will focus on academic situation and the vocabulary to talk about school life. Situational dialogues may include talking about cafeteria menus, elective and compulsory courses, as well as club activities. Students will be encourage to do debate-like activities based on readings concerning controversial issues. Writing simple letters and informative paragraphs may also be dealt with. Free writing will be incorporated as well. |
| 授業計画 | The syllabus will centre on developing the student’s ability to think for themselves and express clearly their own opinions through pairwork, groupwork and individual presentations. The emphasis will be on vocabulary building and fostering respect for other people’s opinions. |
| 評価方法 | Grading is by continuous assessment so attendance, active participation and a willing-to-learn attitude in class are essential. |
