| 授業概要 | This is an elementary English course. It focuses on vocabulary necessary for students to express themselves and to explain issues of Japanese interest. The course involves reading， discussion and a lot of short presentations. There will be situational dialogue that enables students to talk about their likes and dislikes， the customs and culture of Japan and other natural wonders. |
| 授業計画 | The course is designed to help students improve the way they express their ideas in English. Each class day starts with vocabulary building. Students will then review some key functions of sentence making. At the same time， students will learn how to analyze a text and be introduced to aspects of speech making. Classes will often end with 3-5 min presentations by selected students. |
| 評価方法 | Students will be evaluated based on the following: weekly assignment and in-class activities (40%)， attendance (30%) and final presentations (30%). |
