| 授業概要 | This elementary English course will focus on vocabulary necessary for explaining things Japanese in addition to talking about the students themselves. There will be situational dialogues that will challenge the students to explain their likes and dislikes， Japanese culture， customs and natural wonders. Discussions， presentations and oral interpretations based on a variety of readings will be dealt with in class. Mini lectures or informative videos may be a part of the course. |
| 授業計画 | Students will have many opportunities to speak in class–with the teacher， as well as with other students (in pairs and in small groups). Reading material and model dialogs will be provided that will help students learn sentence patterns and vocabulary useful for talking about themselves and their culture and lifestyle. The lessons will incorporate a variety of activities， such as mini-lectures， language games， dialog practice， video study， etc. |
| 評価方法 | Grades will be determined by the level and quality of participation in class activities. Good attendance and active participation are important. |
