| 授業概要 | A good reason for studying English using a video or movie is that the pictures and action communicate a lot of information.In this way，we can understand some of the story without language.Of course，the language is the main reason for studying it in the first place.However，music，a motion picture，and language make the study of it all the more vivid， memorable and interesting.Although the study of a movie may be a challenge，it is a worthwhile challenge because at the end of it students will feel a sense of accomplishment. Students will gain more confidence in their English after having watched，studied and understood a full movie in English with native speakers talking at natural speed.Not only that，but students will develop their listening skills，and will be better able to follow the natural speed of native speakers of English. |

| メッセージ | Finally，I hope that students will enjoy studying English. I believe that enjoying our studies is the key to learning. Although studying a movie is not merely watching a movie for fun as we usually do， we can get a lot more out of a movie by studying it more closely and actively. This is particularly true when using a movie for foreign language study. When we are truly interested in a subject then we can enjoy learning it. When this takes place，true learning happens. |
