| 授業概要 | In this elective course， we will learn the basic presentation skills. Then we will learn to improve our listening and speaking skills using a variety of audio and video tapes. Listening for specific information and listening for meaning help us to identify important details and understand the true meaning. We will also learn to present our opinions and ideas to the class， ask questions to clarify meaning and to get more information. In addition to the text book， topics on current issues will be discussed. Students will also be encouraged to collect interesting articles from newspapers and magazines. |
| 授業計画 | In this class， we will brush up our listening， speaking and presentation skills through a wide variety of listening practice and communicative activities through the use of audio and video tapes. |
| 評価方法 | Grades will be based on class attendance and active participation， completion of homework， several class presentations and a final presentation at the end of the course. |
