| 授業概要 | This is a multimedia elective course designed to improve your English using computers. The course will focus on reading internet websites， organizing information and writing summaries. |
| 授業計画 | Students will start by accessing websites such as BBC World from the UK and PBS public television from the US where they will choose topics to study. Students will read articles on these websites and also listen to the audio streaming of news and features. Later in the course， students will use search engines to access websites of their choice in English. We spend a lot of class time googling. Students will paraphrase， organize information and summarize articles into short reports. |
| 評価方法 | Grading is based on attendance (50%)， short written reports (20%) and one research article (30%). |
