授業概要 The purpose of this course is to prepare for the TOEIC test in a way that goes beyond general test preparation books. It will focus on improving knowledge of the kind of information that is necessary to develop an international outlook. In Japanese schools, the names of famous people in world history are learned in katakana and world events are learned by the Japanese names only yet for test preparation these names and events need to be learned in English. Therefore the most famous people and events in world history will be covered in English, and examples of TOEIC test questions will be reviewed. There will be 3 quizzes similiar to former TOEIC test questions, and a final test. Students will also take part in a role-play for job interviews in English.

メッセージ Regular attendance is necessary in order to receive the print-outs and hear the explanations about famous people and events as a way to prepare for two quizzes and the final exam. The quizzes and exam are designed to improve your prospects in the TOEIC test. The amount of effort that you show will be the most important factor in the result of your grades.
