| 授業概要 | This course is an introductory English conversation course. The students will be introduced to general ideas of daily English conversation. The class will stress development of skills necessary to function in English in situations like making appointments and reservations， as well discussing such common topics as sports and hobbies. In addition， we will lay the foundation for more advanced discussions on international issues by building vocabulary. Although the main aim is to improve conversational skills， reading and writing will also be taught. |
| 授業計画 | A variety of conversational and discussion topics will be presented in class. Topics will include hobbies and interests， family， work， past experiences， travel， health， and the future.. The emphasis of this class will be developing fluency and communication skills. |
| 評価方法 | Grades will be determined by the level and quality of participation in class activities， completion of writing assignments， quizzes， and a final oral interview. Good attendance is very important. |
