| 授業概要 | This course is an introductory English conversation course. The students will be introduced to general ideas of daily English conversation. The class will stres development of skills necessary to function in English in situations like making appointments and reservations, as well as discussing such common topics as sports and hobbies. In addition, we will lay the foundation for more advanced discussions on international issues by building vocabulary. Although the main aim is to improve conversational skills, reading and writing will also be taught. |
| 授業計画 | Topics for conversation that relate to the students lives will be covered such as Family, Sports, Favorite Foods, Friends and Travel. The students will prepare for conversations with a short vocabulary practice and by learning hints on how to improve their conversation skills and then have timed conversations in pairs or groups. There will be opportunities to discuss travel and life in different countries. Each student will do a project on a foreign country. There will be a conversation interview with the instructor and a vocabulary test at the end of the semester. |

| メッセージ | The focus of this class will be conversations in palrs and groups, Good attendance is expected and all homework should be done on time. The greatest improvement will be possible through the enthusiasm and effort of each student. An international outlook will be encouraged. |
