| 授業概要 | This course will discuss the peace movement. It will use current events for much of the material， but will also try to make the students research past peace movements like those related to the Vietnam War or even earlier efforts to end conflict without war. We may use music and video clips to demonstrate the power of the peace movement. With all the war talk or perhaps a war itself， I believe the students will be able to learn much about peace， peace activists and learn about critical thinking. |
| 授業計画 | Students may expect reading and writing as well as oral presentations as part of class work and homework. Classes will include work in pairs as well as discussion groups. |
| 評価方法 | Students will be graded on their classwork and the attitude shown in class (40%)， their attendance (10%) and the quality of their writing and presentations (50%). |
